Anchored in a fully Secure Redundant Data Center, Celtic Communications offers fully managed and private cloud-based telephony solutions to both singular and geographically-distributed organizations.

The ShoreTel centric design delivers a robust and flexible architecture, able to meet the needs of business from 10 -20,000 users.

The QoS managed converged network architecture is able to reliably deliver high definition voice and data content across a common transport infrastructure spanning national and international Metro E fiber, MPLS P-P T1, P-P or RF wireless connections.

The design is further enhanced with a comprehensive and granular network asset and performance monitoring application, offering the client real time alerts and historical analysis review capability: allowing for a centralized, simplified, and cost effective management of geographically dispersed assets and network resources.

Business continuity assurance, simplified management and significantly lower operational costs help underpin the imperative for single and multi-site businesses to migrate to this type of dynamic and exclusively private unified communication solution.

Designing and implementing multi-site converged voice, video and data networks is our core focus; running your business should be yours.

Network Management

Wednesday, January 25th, 2012

Celtic Communications offers a hosted network performance management application providing real-time visibility of the health of all network resources and devices across a geographically distributed footprint.

Celtic Communications’ Network Performance Monitor enables you to quickly detect, diagnose, and resolve network performance problems and outages—before you start getting calls asking if the network is down. Easy to deploy and customizable means you can spend your time actually managing your network rather than supporting your network performance monitoring software.

Comprehensive Network Performance Monitoring for Multi-Vendor Networks

  • Monitors and tracks the up/down status, and analyzes real-time, in-depth, network performance statistics for routers, switches, wireless access points, servers, and any other SNMP-enabled devices.
  • An intuitive user interface provides device-by-device drill down and detailed system information on network devices, servers, virtual machines, and virtual or fiber channel switches.

Intelligent Customizable Network Alerts

  • Allows you to generate alerts when specific a network device fails or reaches predefined utilization thresholds

On Demand Network Utilization Reports

  • Customizable, out-of-the-box graphical reports deliver insight into the health of your network.

Scalable and Easy to Deploy

  • Scales to accommodate growth and enterprise network management needs.

Simple and Easy to Navigate Dashboard Interface

  • Personalized layout configuration options allow each organization to create a custom dashboard able to convey critical down states and lesser alerts through a single viewpoint with drill down capability where needed.

Converged Network- Fiscal Impact Calculation

Providing our clients with an accurate and Objective Design & Cost Analysis of their network infrastructure is a highly recommended initial step when evaluating new technology upgrades, expanding the current architecture or if the objective is just to streamline and reduce costs.

When considering a converged network design, an intimate understanding of the existing network infrastructure and related operational costs is therefore essential if you are to fully evaluate the financial impact of the technology.

Working from existing client records and Voice and Data carrier bills, we are able to deliver a comprehensive evaluation of the incumbent design and associated operational costs, including topology maps.

This is then contrasted against a revised fully converged network design, which includes topology maps and associated operational costs.

The resulting Design Cost Analysis is an essential foundation study when quantifying and planning or selecting products, services for a multi-site organization.

The core principle of all network resources becoming available to all network users regardless of geographical location is the underlying efficiency gain that becomes the fiscal driver for most multi-site implementations.

After 11 years of conducting these types of case studies, the findings typically have shown the attraction of the voice and data converged network design to be so fiscally compelling that many organizations are able to implement and deploy a converged high speed network including a fully integrated IP Telephony solution whilst retaining a positive cash flow in relative to their initial situation.

Incumbent Network Performance Assessment

Testing your existing data network’s ability to successfully support Voice and Video traffic and discovering potential performance problems prior to deployment, Celtic Communications’ network assessment will eliminate the potential for any sub-standard performance.

The assessment uses active application traffic to monitor the live network in order to reveal the performance characteristics. Test agents send a variety of network traffic packets – using different application protocols, packet size, packet spacing and QoS levels.
