Boca Raton Orthopedic Group is a multi–site practice based in South Florida. A fully redundant hosting center acts a technology hub for the entire organization. Each branch office is interconnected using a Metro E solution as a common transport medium for voice, fax and data applications. The need for an EMR (electronic medical records) solution was the primary factor in making a decision to move towards a converged network, the cost reduction and increased efficiency realized from centralized management and both circuit and human resources consolidation made a significant contribution towards the technology upgrade.
